The complaint filed with police names Boonyuen Phetkhong, director of Wat Kuttikhantipalapirom Songkhor School in Muang district of this southern province. The school director later told a committee investigating the school that the women had worked there and received salaries like other staff. The school director had offered to give her 15,000 baht if she agreed to tell the temple that she was employed as a teacher, she said. Ms Boonyuen had approached her to teach at the school, but she could not accept the offer as she was still employed at the private school.
